SUMMER IS OVER!! wooww, this summer's been a turning point in my life. the best part - the tour. CYCNY RULES! I'm going to miss all you guys sooo much!! the bbq was great. we had some nice water balloons (took hours to make and used up in like 20 minutes, but what the hey, it was fun while they lasted). peach picking, volleyball,  veggie bets, and seeing a bunch of orchestra people!

then after the tour, spent a week at CBC, a buddhist instrumental camp. had a lot of funn =)  after that was over, i stayed at home and kinda just mellowed. to wrap it all up: i got a haircut, volunteered at the library tuesdays, went to YMCA once, despite all my good intentions of exercising more frequently, went to my first sweet sixteen - HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY! (2 months late, but that's excusable since i didn't know you 2 months ago)

school starts tomorrow - i'm kinda looking forward to it actually. another year older - MY BIRTHDAY is this Fridaay! September 9th - iis the date to remember. ^^

mmm...i got a haircut today in edison. i wanted to something really different, you know, like dye it green, or something, but i ended up with just a layered cut. i dunno if this spells character or something. i actually had a good piano lesson today and flute lesson day before yesterday (both in the same week!) - by good, i mean no teacher commenting about bad rhythm all the time. i cant believe today is september 1st, that means school is startin real sooon. i went up guidance and got my schedule changed a bit. instead of lunch, im taking culinary arts 1st semester. i wanted to take business elective, but all the classes are full. (if you want to get a schedule change, go now! there are very few choices available.) hmm, well, nothing much else to say really. my mom forbid novels, because she says i spend too much time reading (which is not even true). i started playing chinese chess recently (i actually won, like twice.) it figures, the only time i go to ymca, they're closed. ah well, exercise will just have to wait a bit longer.

I wonder wat the new band teacher'll be like..school is gonna start wayy too soon. went peach picking today, first time this summer, although we used to go almost every single weekend.

got back from cbc on sunday. it was pretty cool. (my first Buddhist camp, im not even buddhist, but was chinese instumental camp - i play bamboo flute). took a nice loong shower as soon as i got back. (the cabins were a bit tight with like four showers and 24 girls)  yesterday was my parents' 20 yr wedding anniversary. we went to nyc to see Hairspray on broadway. it was really good. we went window-shopping in soho (cant afford anything, too expensive). got back like twelve-ish.

i actually finished summer-reading. hurray.. anyway ive discovered my three brown loves (chocolate, coffee, and peanut butter) ^^  i went swimming at ymca a few days ago..hmm..not much else, pretty bored right now. im listening to the Nutcracker and lamenting over lack of chocolate in the house.

i read harry potter and the half-blood prince (didnt get any work done that day). Went to flushing, NYC yesterday to see my orchestra friends! went to the movies and bowling...(my sister told me she enjoyed Dukes of Hazzard....grr)

going to cbc tmrw! ill be away 5 days, back on sunday. i need to buy a sleeping bag...my cousins visited saturday. They're sooo cute, the girls one yr old and she can count to ten and rectite the alphabet up to E ^^  shes so smart!   lol
